The theme of the shower is simply the idea of the party. Having a theme is not vital, but it is a lot of fun and makes it easier to correlate decorations, food, games, and maybe even the types of gifts the guests bring.

When trying to figure out a good theme consider the following questions:
• What hobbies does the bride have?
• Where is her honeymoon going to be?
• What gifts does she need?
• Has she dropped any hints for what kind of shower she would like?

If you have a hard time picking a theme, create a list and show it to the bride to see which she would prefer. If you want the theme to be a surprise, consult with her friends or family.

Don’t be afraid to try something! No matter which theme you choose, the party will be a lot of fun, so don’t let this consume your worries.
