Your photographer will be shooting wedding photos from the beginning to the end of your wedding and needs to know all details beforehand. If you want to be certain he gets all of the photos you want, be sure you fill him in on when to expect photo opportunities.

There are three types of photography available:
• Candid photography – Also known as photojournalistic photography, often angled, candid, and original photos. A documentary type shoot that covers the beginning to the end of the wedding day. In this type of photography style, photos will be taken of the bridal party getting ready through the couple leaving the wedding. The photographer shoots without much direction and you are not even aware of the photos being taken. The lens change throughout the day for distinctive photos.
• Traditional photography – This style of photography focuses on the bride and groom. This is a formal type of photography where the wedding party poses for the photos. This type of photography is less expensive than having the entire wedding event photographed.
• Artistic photography – The type of materials used to make the photos is what makes them artistic. An artistic style includes, black and white photos, and photos shot with wide angle lenses. The photographer is creating their artistic impressions of your wedding day.
