·        Busy servers: Free hosting are not good regarding reliability and uptime. Many times the host company’s servers are overcrowded and very busy with traffic. This causes the Web pages to load slowly.

·        Fewer features: When you get a free hosting account, you usually don’t get the extras that paid hosting provides. These include email services, PHP, MySQL, FTP, POP email, and more.

·        Ads: In order to fund the free hosting company, they run banner ads to pay for the cost of running the system. These ads don’t show up on paid hosting Websites. This is kind of a way for the free hosting company to lure these Webmasters to go for the paid hosting.
