Home » Vietnam » Vietnam: Activities and Attractions » TravelThere are three international airports which service Vietnam, and if you do plan to see sights in multiple cities during your time there, you will need to make use of them. Traveling by automobile is not only rare in Vietnam, but it is somewhat unsafe and will take enormous amounts of time. The airports are located in the two cities we have already mentioned, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and in another of the country’s independent provinces, Da Nang.
Because of the great distances between cities of consequence, it is exceedingly difficult to travel within the country any other way but by airplane. There are a number of other, smaller airports in the country which offer domestic only flights that may also assist you in your travel plans.
