Wake up on your first full day in Vietnam and enjoy the breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, hail a cab and head to the city center, where most of the interesting attractions are. While there, choose as many of these sites as you have time to see: The Reunification Palace, the Old Post Office, the Remnant War Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, and Municipal Theatre. You should have time to see several of these before the end of the day. For your lunch and dinner, sample some of the outstanding Vietnamese cuisine, which can be found in the city center area for fantastic prices.
