Day Seven

The northern areas of the Champlain Islands and the Northeast Kingdom offer less in terms of organized tourism, but plenty in the way of natural scenery. You might want to take a driving tour through the region. Stop by the village of Craftsbury Common, which is full of historic homes. If you want to try cross-country skiing for a day, this is the part of the state to give it a try. After your tour, return to Burlington to enjoy one more night of Vermont’s famous hospitality.
