Some of the best lodging options in Central Vermont are located in the not-to-be-missed town of Woodstock. The Jackson House Inn is located five minutes west of the center of town. Three Church St. is a less-expensive choice, offering a cozy family experience (complete with shared bathrooms, something to keep in mind). If you are planning a ski trip to Killington, you might consider a condominium package. They usually include lift tickets and offer you the option of preparing some meals yourself. There are several affordable chain motels, as well as an inexpensive shuttle to take you to the mountain. Cross-country skiers might like the Blueberry Hill Inn in Goshen, about 45 minutes from Killington. The inn itself dates back to 1813 and it is located in the hub of Vermont’s Moosalamoo recreation area.
