If there is a property there for you then submit a bid as soon as possible. Always start about £7,000 below the asking price and this gives the seller a chance to negotiate the price and whilst it may not be much less, you could both agree a suitable figure that results in the sale going through and getting your dream home.
Top Tip: If you are unsure how the market is progressing then I would recommend checking local press for movements in the market, are there properties that have been on the books for months? There are so many ways of getting a better deal and by spending a bit of time researching, you could find that home.
