Beningborough Hall and Gardens is another 18^th century mansion that offers beautiful gardens and sights within the grounds. There is an adventure playground for children and for adults there are walled gardens and wooden sculptures to view.

 

The National Portrait Gallery has brought over a centuries worth of art to this wonderful mansion and there is something for everyone one when making a visit to a national landmark. There is a wonderful restaurant on hand that provides excellent meals for all tastes and prices are at an outstanding £7 for adults and £3.50 for children.

 

For the final night, you want to finish your holiday with a bang and the Lime House restaurant is a family run eatery that was named best restaurant for 2003 and offers intimate jazz music and candlelight. It provides a great eating experience for all visitors. I would strongly recommend reserving a table due to its popularity and is located at 55 Goodramgate, York.
