AM and PM Activity
This is one of the many free exhibitions throughout the Edinburgh area and for the first day I suggest visiting the Museum of Scotland. It takes you through the first days of this great city and how people once lived. It will surprise you how Scotland’s residents coped with everyday life and it will make ours seem a lot easier with the benefits of modern technology.
You will find the museum on Chambers Street and the museum is open daily from 10am to 5pm. Located close to the museum are several restaurants that offer excellent cuisine so after a day of history, relax and have a nice meal.
Dinner
For that hint of traditional Scottish cuisine with an international twist, I suggest stopping by the Merchant Restaurant located in the Greyfriars Churchyard area which is just minutes from the centre of Edinburgh.
There is a wide range of meals with a twist, prices do vary and booking are required so you can contact the restaurant on 0131 225 4009, it offers an intimate setting for any occasion.
