It may be hard to believe but it is true. The time of year can have a huge effect on the property market and when you purchase a house, the colder months could mean getting a whole better offer.

Some people won’t want to purchase a home during the colder months but at this time of year, more people may be desperate to sell and will take a reasonable offer even if it is slightly below the asking price.

If you don’t feel comfortable waiting until the winter months then search when you feel good and ready to buy a house, the thought of trying to save a few thousand pounds should not affect your judgements because this is when mistakes can happen and regrets may surface.
