» Facts to bear in mind
If you have not yet booked your holiday then it is best to consider what time of year you would like to go because this will reflect the price drastically.
For example, if you visit Derbyshire during the low season, there are a lot of attractions that will be closed but could potentially save a few hundred pounds on the high season price.
During the high season for a week, you can expect to pay £400 but in the winter months, it can be £200 or less. Whilst many people don’t like the prospect of having a winter holiday, visiting Derbyshire is suitable for all year round because there are many sights to see whatever the weather and the only rule is to wrap up warm.
Top Tip: Some cottages/hotels will not be available for the winter months and whilst some definitely will be, it is best to ask ahead and always check that the dates you require are available. Some are available during the Christmas period so have a different type of festive trip this year.
