Unlike with a hotel room, some cottages/cabins will allow cats or dogs and if the availability is advertised online, it will usually say whether or not pets are allowed.
If this is not the case then it may be no pets are allowed but always ask because otherwise, you will never know. Self catering accommodation is the best way to go because if the weather takes a turn for the worst, you don’t have to venture too far by using the facilities on offer from your cottage.
Top Tip: Costs may be a little higher but if you don’t like to be parted from your beloved pet/s, it will be worth paying a little bit extra for your pet to be part of the vacation too.
