Pick one of the following locations for three days of great beaches, wonderful seafood and lots of relaxation:

• Phuket is the most famous beach with accommodations to suit every budget. The Phi Phi Islands are located about 45 minutes to the west of Phuket and are actually in the Krabi province, so they can be reached via Krabi or Phuket. Three days on Phi Phi Island is three days in paradise.
• Krabi is another beautiful resort area located across the bay from Phuket.
• Koh Samui and Koh Pha-Ngan are increasingly popular islands in the southern region of the Gulf of Thailand.
• Hua Hin and Cha-am are favorites with local Thais and are within an easy driving distance from Bangkok.
• Similarly, Pattaya and Rayong are lovely coastal areas within driving distance of Bangkok, but on the other side towards Cambodia.
• Koh Chang and Koh Samet are popular islands not far from Pattaya and Rayong. These areas are popular with Thais and may be a little less “touristy” than some of the well-developed tourist areas in the southern regions.
• Please note that vacationing or visiting in extreme Southern Thailand is currently not advised due to the unstable political situation and ethnic and religious violence.
