San Antonio is one of America’s most popular tourist locations, drawing an average of over 20 million visitors per year. The highly-acclaimed San Antonio Convention Center, one of the finest of its kind in the entire country, hosts over 300 events each year, contributing to this number.
San Antonio has seven sister cities: Guadalajara, Mexico; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Kumamoto, Japan; Kwangju, South Korea; Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain; Monterrey, Mexico; and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain.
