If you’re planning to stay right downtown, you might want to choose the Holiday Inn San Antonio Downtown (318 W. Durango). Its average rate of $115 per night is the best you can find in the downtown area for a hotel of its quality. If you stay here, you’ll be near Market Square and just a short trolley ride from the major downtown attractions, including the River Walk. If you’d rather stay near the airport and avoid the congestion of downtown, you might want to try the Hill Country Inn and Suites (2383 NE Loop 410). For an affordable $69 per night, you’ll enjoy staying in a suite with kitchen facilities and a fitness center on-site. If the west side of town is your preference, you should try the La Quinta Inn Lackland San Antonio. This recently renovated property is located ideally for access to all the city’s attractions, and its rates are a fantastic $55 per night.
