When you think of Nashville, TN – what comes to mind? For many people, it’s country music, the Grand ‘Ole Opry, the Tennessee Titans or just the Southern hospitality. Each of these things is, indeed, a little piece of what makes Nashville such a special city with its own unique personality. However, even “Music City USA” has more to it than just the entertainment and excitement it has become well known for over the years.
Nashville is an American city with a deep heritage and a history rooted in the Civil War. Located on the Cumberland River in Tennessee, Nashville has the largest Metropolitan area in the state and is somewhat diverse racially and culturally. It has a strong participation in politics in its area and so can be an exciting place in which to live and participate in the government. However, it is also a thrill for tourists who can come enjoy a taste of the many annual events, museums, and music/art happenings that take place there. Of all of the cities in Tennessee and even in the United States, Nashville is indeed one that is loved by its people.
