» Graubunden
Graubünden is a colorful region with rivers winding all through it, mountains making their way to gorgeous valleys, and three languages – German, Romansh, and Italian – spoken in one canton. This eclectic area possesses a symbol for nearly every color of the rainbow:
• Red – the Rhätische Bahn railway
• Yellow – the postal buses
• Green – forests, pastures, and lush scenery
• Blue – never-ending skies above 150 valleys and 615 lakes
• Golden Brown – trees in autumn
• Gray – rocks and castles
• White – snow and ice
As if these weren't enough, the Graubünden offers even more attractions, such as bobsledding and skiing, hot-air ballooning, and horse-drawn sleigh rides. For those who don't enjoy the outdoors, there are relaxing spas to soothe away stress.
