The Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland is brimming with waterfalls, glacier-fed creeks, cliffs, and canyons. In the summer you’ll see sail boats on Lakes Thun and Brienz, and on the shore you’ll notice villages of quaint chalets. This area is home to many castles and regal hotels. In winter, tons of skiers brave the steep slopes of Kleine Scheidegg, Schilthorn, Lauberhorn, and Männlichen. Tourists also enjoy panoramic views from mountain railways.
