Ostergotland County

Östergötland County is located in the south east part of Sweden and borders several counties as well as the Baltic Sea. Östergötland County is apart of the historical Östergötland Province and basically has the same area with in it that the province had. The county has a County Administrative Board that is in place to ensure that not only the national laws and goals are followed but to also maintain the order and growth within the county. Östergötland County has 13 municipalities with in the county and has a population of 411,320 residents.

·        Linköping: The municipality of Linköping is a center for both culture and style. Each year many tourists are drawn to Linköping to the Östergötland County Museum and the Linköping Symphony Orchestra. The municipality has a population of 94,298 residents. They also have professional sporting teams such as both men’s and women’s football (soccer), volleyball, and ice hockey.
