Sweden offers several great lodging options. The country has a rating system in place for their hotels that is enforced by the Swedish Hotel and Restaurant Association. The SHR inspects hotels each year and then rates them on a 130 point criteria. Hotels are given a sticker that says SHR to indicate to patrons that the establishment has in fact been rated.
