Sweden has several attractions and activities that appeal to the entire family. From theme parks to zoos there is something everyone can enjoy.
 
·        Zoos: Who doesn’t enjoy a great zoo? Sweden is home to several wonderful zoos. The two most visited zoos in Sweden are located in Stockholm and Norrköping. Skansen zoo is located in Stockholm and was the world’s first open air zoo. Kolmärden zoo is located in Norrköping and is the largest zoo in northern Europe.
·        Aquaria Water Museum: Located in Stockholm this aquarium offers visitors the chance to see what a rainforest looks like. There are many different species of marine life including a coral reef, several species of fish, and even sharks. Admission fees are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $4.50 for children 6-15 years of age, and children under 6 are free. The museum has a café that serves light menu items. ·        Kolmården Animal Park: Kolmården Animal Park is located about 90 minutes from Stockholm and offers visitors up close and personal looks at animals. The park has a safari ride that allows visitors to drive through the animals natural habitats. Monkey’s, dolphins, lions, and many other animals call the Kolmården Animal Park home. There are several cafes and restaurants through out the park that offer everything from light snacks to meals. Ticket prices for one day park tickets are $36 for adults, $21 for children 4-15, and children under 4 are free. ·        Liseberg Amusement Park: Liseberg Amusement Park is Sweden’s most visited attraction each year. The park has thrill rides for daredevils such as the roller coaster Balder and the giant wheel ride known as Tornado to mention a few. There are also more tame rides for the younger visitors and those who are not so brave like bumper cars, a log ride, and a carousel for example. Liseberg also offers daily shows that appeal to all ages. There are 7 restaurants located in the park and several concession stands as well. Pass start at $35 for one day passes.
