The culture provided by Sweden is unmatched by most countries. Citizens of Sweden pride themselves with the culture and history their country offers. There are castles, museums, and historical sites to visit while in the country.

 

·        Castles: There are several breathtaking castles located in Sweden. Many of the castles in Sweden are open to the public for tours in the summer months. For the most part every region of the country is adorned with castles which make them very assessable to tourists no matter where their travels in Sweden take them.

·        Historical Sites: Places such as Birka Sweden’s first city, and the Viking kingdom of Foteviken are excellent places to visit while in Sweden. Birka is located on the coast of the Baltic Sea and has tours offered by archeologists available to teach visitors about early life in Sweden as well as early explores to the region. The peaceful Viking kingdom of Foteviken is a truly unique Swedish experience. The kingdom has its own king and even their own laws. Foteviken allows visitors to dress up and partake in the Viking way of life.
