·        French Quarter Inn: This hotel located in the historic district downtown was voted the #1 Luxury Hotel in the United States and the #10 Luxury Hotel in the World by Trip Advisor. Located overlooking the City Market and St. Phillip’s Episcopal Church, this hotel is decorated in elegant French décor and is full of Colonial ambience. Rates start at $209 per night.

 

·        Renaissance Charleston Hotel Historic District: For a classy and traditional hotel-stay that is in the middle of the action, the Renaissance is a great place to be. Also located in the historic district, the hotel is full of modern amenities and close to several historic attractions and fine dining.  

 

·        Charleston Place Hotel: This 8-story hotel is a landmark in the historic district and is frequented by the most discriminating guests. The Orient Express property looks like a postmodern French chateau, but actually is quite urban and a good representation of the New South.
