The Lake Union Marriott Residence Inn is across the street from Lake Union. Being so close to the waterfront also affords guests the opportunity for great restaurants. If you are not too excited about being close to the center of town then this is your place. The Residence Inn is just slightly away from the center of town, yet still gives you great access to shops, restaurants, and great views. The inside of the Inn is beautifully decorated with plants and a waterfall that utilizes the seven-story atrium. The Residence Inn gives you the best bang for your buck, as all of the rooms are suites. In addition to having a generous floor plan, the rooms also come with a full kitchen, allowing you to stay in and cook your own food. The Inn provides breakfast. Though the Inn does not have any restaurants on the premise there are options right across the street. The amenities include: Indoor lap pool and children's pool; exercise room and access to nearby health club; Jacuzzi; sauna; concierge; downtown courtesy shuttle; business center; room service; coin-op laundry; laundry service; dry cleaning; executive-level rooms.

There are some tourist sites you definitely need to put on the docket right off the bat. After grabbing a cup of coffee, from the downtown coffee capital of the world, head out to the Boeing Plant for a tour.

Boeing is one of the largest airplane manufacturers in the world, therefore you must stop in and check out the plant. One of the main attractions in Seattle the plant spans 98 acres. The tour will give you the history of the company and you will actually get to see the Boeing 777 and 767 come off the assembly line. A must see on your stop to Seattle.
