The Sorrento Hotel has all the charm of an Italian villa. It was built in 1909 so it has a great historic feel to it which is accentuated by a beautiful circular driveway that surround a huge fountain decorated with palms. The view is a great one as the hotel is perched high on First Hill overlooking Elliot Bay and the Downtown. Though some of the rooms tend to be on the small side they are quiet comfortable and quiet. If you would like a larger room you will want one of the corner suites, which feature antique décor and spacious bathrooms. If you are in the mood for a cup of coffee, tea, cocktail just want to relax in the public area the Fireside Lounge is a great option. Offering special Northwest dishes The Hunt Club is another option for native fare. The Sorrento offers complimentary limousine services to the downtown as well as trips to the local health club.
