Racing RC boats will prove to be a fun hobby and could make a rewarding career if mastered properly. It is not something you will pick up overnight, but if you stick at it then the potential rewards are endless.

I would recommend not purchasing a boat if it is going to be used once in a blue moon, it will prove to be a huge waste of money, in this situation I would just borrow a friend’s.

If you do decide to race professionally, then I wish you the best of luck, showing determination to something can make the difference and will show when racing other operators.

Never be over ambitious because this can cloud your judgement on the day, keep the power up and manoeuvre the turns accurately. When starting out as a beginner, it is best to have the simple joy of controlling it on the local pond but can soon upgrade all your skills to more experienced races. Make sure you have years of fun racing your new RC boat.
