Having a model RC plane is the dream of many and there is the benefit of the fact they don’t cost too much to keep and maintain but can provide a lot of fun and have been known to improve hand and eye co-ordination.

It may seem impossible, but there have been a couple of reported accidents/deaths concerning RC planes so I would strongly suggest using one in a secluded area which will reduce any potential risk.

If model planes are a major hobby then I recommend joining a scale model club. It gives you a chance to really hone necessary skills for excellent control but at the same time can mean new friends are made through a hobby.
