AM and PM Activity

Given a massive 10 out of 10 in terms of the experience, atmosphere and value, you must visit the Avenida de Liberdade in the heart of Lisbon. The promenade that stands here was built following the earthquake of 1755 and it was originally only allowed to be enjoyed by the rich and famous but after 1821 this rule changed.

Today you can see some of the most beautiful fountains and cafes that are available to be tried. In the centre, you will find a detailed monument that remembers the lives lost during world war one.

Dinner

If you would prefer some international cuisine then one place to visit is the Festival restaurant. Located in Monte Estoril, this is one place that has a varied menu and every day there is a different special for an individual to try and with friendly staff, visitors have given this a generous five out of five.

Reservations are not always necessary but because it is popular with tourists, I would try and book ahead if possible. You can contact the restaurant on +35 21 468 85 63 for more details or to arrange a booking
