Why buy a pet feeder?

Late at night—or early in the morning, you are not quite sure which—you pull up into your driveway and park your car. Your dog starts barking happily.

 

"My Human's home! My Human's home!" you guess it is saying; that or, "Give me dinner! Give me dinner!" The latter, probably.

 

"Hush!" you scold as you fumble with your keys to open your door.

 

You enter and nearly trip on your cat, who has come running at your entrance and is now purring and rubbing against your legs. It meows at you as if to say, "Feed me! You forgot to feed me, Human!" Outside, the dog bellows its agreement with the cat.

 

Between that and the hectic schedules everyone seems to have, these days, sometimes a little help is nice just to get our pets fed—preferably at a set time each day to help their digestion, but merely feeding them is a good start.

 

Pet feeders are ways we have developed to feed our pets in those times when we cannot.
