More "exotic" pets are becoming popular these days.

"The first time I held a rat, I fell in love with them because I thought they were so cute," 13-year-old Bleu said.

Bleu now has three rats, Velvet, Smokey and Hannah, and has even inspired her brothers to get rats.

...In addition to his 13 80-gallon fish tanks, he also has two ball pythons, one red tail boa, three iguanas, two tiger salamanders, 10 geckos, five ferrets, five cats and a dog.

Oddly enough, I don't consider many of those things to be that "exotic." Find yourself a sloth or some kind of spider monkey, then we'll talk about how exotic it is. And incidentally, I pet that kid's room really stinks.
