Before you go cracking the obvious joke, the restaurant doesn't allow pets inside in order for them to be eaten in the restaurant. Smart-aleck.

Shanghai's "The Paradise Pet" club recently opened featuring a menu of meals for dogs but also drinks and snacks for their owners. The restaurant was originally just intended for dogs, but added cats, rabbits, and other creatures to the clientele. Both pets and owners eat at the same table.

Some critics have called the restaurant out on the obvious issue - namely, that it's severely unhygienic to eat at the same table as your damn Schnauzer, but there is no law prohibiting it.

Sounds like a decent novelty, but....yeah. Ew.
