The lowland region of Peru can be found at the foothills of the Andes (bordering into Bolivia) and parts of the lowlands in certain directions do head toward other neighbouring countries such as Brazil and Columbia. It is one part of the country where there are plenty of natural resources that are available in the area and as a result it is an area of massive agricultural development.
If you would like to visit some of the plains that lead to tropical rainforests but it is vital to remember that you will only be able to reach certain parts of the forests by river. The lowlands are not a highly populated area but it is an ideal visit for holidaymakers and whether you prefer to see some of the wildlife in their natural habitat or the different varieties of flora and forna.
