The Inca’s were once known to have been creators of the some of best designed buildings in terms of architecture and their creative knowledge has created many buildings that have been reduced to ruins but still stand today. With areas local to Lima like the sophisticated San Isidro district, modern day architecture receives a warm welcome and citizens apply this look to many buildings when and where they can.

• One part of the highly historic Cusco area is the Calle Hatun Rumiyoq, Cusco, it is known as the most renowned street in the city and you will get to see the twelve angles stone which is a symbol of the beauty and soundness behind Incan architecture. The origin behind this famous stone is very interesting because it was just one of the pieces that made up the palace of Inca Roca and today is found to be part of the Architectural palace that was built on the existing site.
• It is not just ancient architecture that is common in parts of Peru if you visit the capitol Lima then you will see that many modern buildings from banks to hotels are a sign of a modern day culture with a mixture of traditional and modern style architecture. For example there are some hotels to be built in Lima over the next couple of years which will be of particular interest, they will be set amongst some of the cliff faces and this is the best way to get one of the ultimate sea views.
