• If you head towards the southern part of the country then you are in for a treat, just beyond the sierra plain, you will see acres of tropical rainforest that is home to many types of wildlife. There is more than 130 million acres of natural forestation throughout the area and this figure amounts to 57% of the original forest cover which eventually leads to the famous Amazon River. Many rare creatures and even more common animals reside throughout the forests and if you are brave enough to handle all those different species then this is going to be a hike with a difference.
