Whitewater rafting in the Bajo Mendez Section has been rated as a class III and some rapids as a class IV. The Bajo Mendez Section is quite wide and more forgiving since there are usually plenty of courses which to maneuver the raft. The trip length is anywhere from three to five hours depending on the water levels, which fluctuate from rain to rain. A few of the many falls that you will encounter are the Martillo, Australiano, Culebra, and Bajo Mendez.
