Before you make any rash decisions when purchasing your furniture, you need to consider many points before investing time and money into items of this kind.

·        How often will the furniture be used? It will be best that if the furniture is only going to be in use a couple of times a year then I would consider purchasing a cheaper alternative rather then let good furniture and cash go to waste
·        Will you keep it maintained? All furniture will require due care and attention but to keep this hardwood looking it’s best, always give it the essential maintenance required because otherwise it could be damaged beyond repair
·        Suitable for me? This is an important question to ask yourself because if your lifestyle is not suitable then again purchasing a cheaper alternative may be the key. For example, if you have young children then this could be damaged if they play on your new bench or garden chair. Look into all options available, the most expensive set will not always ideal for everyone
·        Re-sealing furniture: Another part of the essential maintenance is a need to re-seal your furniture. It is stated that this needs to be done once yearly but it should ideally be undertaken for the first time 8 months after a purchase
