In the “Restaurants” section above, you noticed an area of town called Bricktown. This is not only a great place to find a place to eat, but a terrific place for some great entertainment. Located just a block away from the Downtown Convention Center, Bricktown is the fastest-growing and most exciting area in the city. With plenty of restaurants, shopping and entertainment, Bricktown provides a unique experience of Oklahoma City.
While you’re there, be sure to enjoy the Bricktown Canal, a mile-long waterway recently constructed right through the streets of the city. You can take a water taxi right through Bricktown, past the city’s minor league ballpark, underneath the highway and on to even more beautiful sights. Many of Bricktown’s restaurants sit just on the edge of the canal, providing an aesthetic, romantic atmosphere for all diners.
Bricktown is home to many upscale shops and other retailers, including the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, one of the largest of its kind anywhere, and a new 20-screen movie theater for your viewing enjoyment.
