While in town for your vacation it will be helpful to know of some area restaurants. Listed below are some great dining options for each meal of the day.
 
Breakfast
·        Showmars Restaurant: Showmars is a great place to enjoy southern cooking. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast they serve eggs made to order, toast, pancakes, grits, oatmeal, bacon, sausage, coffee, and juice. Prices are low with nothing on their menu costing over $11.
·        Caffe Frappe: Breakfast at Caffe Frappe is served all day long. Menu items include French toast, pancakes, steak and eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. There are also lunch and dinner items on the menu as well. Prices range from $4 to $15.
 
Lunch
·        Bravo! Cucina Italiana: Bravo’s is a casual dining experience with top of the line specialties. Their menu includes soups, salads, pizzas, pastas, steak, and chicken dishes. Bravo! Also offers a children’s menu as well as a full service bar. Menu prices range from $4.50 to $20.99.
·        Chilis: This popular chain restaurant serves up a large menu full of meal time favorites at several locations across the Charlotte Metropolitan Area. The menu has appetizers, salads, soups, entrees, deserts, a kid’s menu, and cocktails. Some favorite dishes at Chili’s are their Chicken Crispers, Country Fried Steak, BBQ Ranch Burger, and the Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie. Prices range from $5 to $20.
·        Hog Heaven BBQ: This BBQ establishment is a favorite of locals and visitors in Charlotte. The BBQ sauce has a tangy taste with a kick. They offer traditional BBQ dishes and sides with prices that are next to nothing. You can spend as little as $13 on an entire meal at Hog Heaven BBQ.
·        Zach’s Hamburgers: Zach’s has been a Charlotte tradition since 1975. In the past 30 years the hamburger joint has developed quite a loyal fan base. Their menu offers several variations of the classic hamburger like the Zach’s Special which is a huge burger served with two patties and all the trimmings. There are also chili burgers, chicken burgers, chili fries, and cheese fries. Menu prices range between $3 and $9. 
 
Dinner
·        Splash Food & Wine: Splash serves up seafood dishes with Mediterranean flare. The restaurant offers not only dining accommodations but also a bar and lounge which serves some of the best martini’s in town. Menu favorites include Oysters Rockefeller, Fried Calamari, Lobster Ravioli, Pan Roasted Chilean Sea Bass, Maple Bourbon Glazed Center Cut Pork Chop, and Pistachio Crusted Rack of Lamb. Prices at Splash range from $4.95 to $30.
·        Senor Tequila: Senior Tequila’s is a fine dining experience that offers authentic tastes from Mexico. The restaurant has a premium bar with 25 varieties of tequila. Menu items include Jalapeno Peppers, Queso Fundido, Enchiladas Popeye, Salmon Margarita, Papa Con Camarones, Pollo Con Mole, and Burrito Frito. Prices range from $5.95 to $18.
·        Bentleys on 27: Located on the 27th floor of the Charlotte Plaza Building Bentley’s is Charlotte’s newest restaurant. The atmosphere combined with the fine dining make this restaurant a must see. The menu is full of American cuisine classics such as steaks, seafood, and lobster. Bentley’s also offers a 230+ bottle wine cellar. Menu prices range from $6 to $13 for first course items, $19 for pasta items, $6 for side items, and $18 to $25 for main course entrees.
