·        Hog Heaven BBQ: This BBQ establishment is a favorite of locals and visitors in Charlotte. The BBQ sauce has a tangy taste with a kick. They offer traditional BBQ dishes and sides with prices that are next to nothing. You can spend as little as $13 on an entire meal at Hog Heaven BBQ.

·        Zach’s Hamburgers: Zach’s has been a Charlotte tradition since 1975. In the past 30 years the hamburger joint has developed quite a loyal fan base. Their menu offers several variations of the classic hamburger like the Zach’s Special which is a huge burger served with two patties and all the trimmings. There are also chili burgers, chicken burgers, chili fries, and cheese fries. Menu prices range between $3 and $9. 

·        Chilis: This popular chain restaurant serves up a large menu full of meal time favorites at several locations across the Charlotte Metropolitan Area. The menu has appetizers, salads, soups, entrees, deserts, a kid’s menu, and cocktails. Some favorite dishes at Chili’s are their Chicken Crispers, Country Fried Steak, BBQ Ranch Burger, and the Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie. Prices range from $5 to $20.

·        Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar and Grill: Applebee’s is another favorite in chain restaurants and with several Charlotte locations you can enjoy their food no matter where you are in the city. Applebee’s has a complete Weight Watchers menu for those watching their weight. Some menu favorites at Applebee’s include Thai Chicken Pizza, Queso Dip and Chips, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Bleu Cheese Sirloin, Bourbon Street Steak, Crispy Buttermilk Shrimp, Chicken Fajita Rollup, Cajun Lime Tilapia (Weight Watchers Menu), and Berry Lemon Cheesecake. Applebee’s also has a kid’s menu and a full service bar. Menu prices range from $2.79 to $18.

·        Bentleys on 27: Located on the 27^th floor of the Charlotte Plaza Building Bentley’s is Charlotte’s newest restaurant. The atmosphere combined with the fine dining make this restaurant a must eat. Their menu is full of American cuisine classics such as steaks, seafood, and lobster. Bentley’s also offers a 230+ bottle wine cellar. Menu prices range from $6 to $13 for first course items, $19 for pasta items, $6 for side items, and $18 to $25 for main course entrees.

 

·        Cantina 1511: Cantina 1511 serves up authentic Mexican dishes with a twist. Their menu offers such delights as Queso Fundido Dip served with tortilla chips, Carne Asada Tacos, Red Snapper Veracruz, Enchilada De Dennis, and Polo Laredo. There is also a full service bar with 35 types of tequila. Menu prices range from $3.99 to $15.

·        Senor Tequila: Senior Tequila’s is a fine dining experience that offers authentic tastes from Mexico. The restaurant has a premium bar with 25 varieties of tequila. Menu items include Jalapeno Peppers, Queso Fundido, Enchiladas Popeye, Salmon Margarita, Papa Con Camarones, Pollo Con Mole, and Burrito Frito. Prices range from $5.95 to $18.

 

·        Bravo! Cucina Italiana: Bravo’s is a casual dining experience with top of the line specialties. Their menu includes soups, salads, pizzas, pastas, steak, and chicken dishes. Bravo! Also offers a children’s menu as well as a full service bar. Menu prices range from $4.50 to $20.99.

·        Coco Osteria: Located in uptown Charlotte Coco Osteria is a casual dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is full of authentic Italian dishes such as Penne Alla Bufara, Lasagne Al Forno, and Pollo In Tortiera. There is also a full service bar with an extensive wine list. Menu prices range between $ 3 and $18.

 

·        Splash Food & Wine: Splash serves up seafood dishes with Mediterranean flare. The restaurant offers not only dining accommodations but also a bar and lounge which serves some of the best martini’s in town. ·        Upstream: Recently named by Esquire Magazine to be one of the Best New Restaurants in America Upstream serves delicious seafood dishes. Some popular menu items include Creamy Lobster Bisque, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Sake Marinated South American Sea Bass, Kobe Beef “Surf and Turf”, and Roasted Carolina Black Grouper. Upstream also offers a sushi menu and bar with a lounge. Menu prices range from $8 to $65.
