Here you can enjoy a ride in one of the 4WD trucks that will take you across the beach, over rocks and around the many bays and headlands in the area. After the 20 kilometre trip, you can enjoy greeting a colony of New Zealand seals in their natural habitat along the coastline near to the famous Leaning Lighthouse of Wellington. On the return journey then there is a short climb over a fault – line through a farm where you may come across some deer and possibly wild goats. You will be treated to beautiful views of the Pacific and Tasman oceans and some of the surrounding mountain ranges. Before the end of the tour, it involves a stop off at the Brooklyn Wind Turbine where you will be able to enjoy more views of the city, the harbour and surrounding countryside. For an excellent evening meal then you must visit the Tables on the River restaurant in Waikato because while have a lovely meal you can enjoy the views from the balcony overlooking the Waikato River.
