New Zealand is one country that has a rather large population and since 2002, it is a figure that has been constantly growing over time and at the end of 2005 the total number of people living throughout the area amounted to just over 4 million people over a land mass of just over 270,000 square kilometres between both south and north islands.

It is said that around 80% of the population live closer to inner city areas and with Wellington being the capitol of New Zealand, more and more locals are choosing this as an idea place to work and live.

In New Zealand, you will only come across two main languages with English being the most common tongue. With the slight Maori population in the area, the language is widely spoken throughout the country but you will find that most locals are able to speak both languages without any problems.
