The Liberty Science Center located at Liberty State Park and offers over two hundred and fifty state-of-the-art, interactive exhibits. With three floors to the museum offering a different theme on each floor, the museum’s dedicated to exploration with hands-on experimentation. The Liberty Science Center is perfect for all age groups. Hours for the Liberty Science center are Tuesday through Sunday 9:30 to 5:30. Admission for adults is $9.00, students and seniors are $8.00, children two through twelve is $6.00 and children under two are free. Another museum you could go to is The Children’s Museum. The museum is in Egg Harbor, New Jersey and has fourteen wonderful exhibits. All which are hands-on and interactive. Two to twelve year olds can build an automobile on an assembly line, examine household appliances, become a TV weather person and much more. Children can also imagine, learn and play in a Supermarket, Hospital, Post Office, Fire Station and a Construction Site. The Children’s Museum is open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday 10:00 to 5:00 and on Sunday 12:00 to 5:00. The museum is closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day and Easter Sunday. The Garden State Discovery Museum offers a hands-on museum for infants to ten years old. The museum offers fifteen larger-than-life exhibit areas. Open from October to May from 9:30 to 5:30 and on Saturdays from 9:30 to 8:30. Every exhibit is an invitation to touch, explore and create. Admission for adults and children twelve months and older is $7.95 and Seniors are $6.95. Family memberships are also available. The Hall of Fame Sports Museum is dedicated to teams and individuals of all sports in the region of New Jersey. The museum is open on Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 3:00. They are closed from noon to 1:00 and admission is free. These are just a few examples of the many museum’s in New Jersey. Get out and enjoy.
