Despite its status as New Hampshire’s largest city, Manchester offers few exciting lodging options. Standard fare hotels and motels are the norm here. Nearby Bedford offers a couple of great choices, however.
The Bedford Village Inn was once the site of a working farm built in 1810. It went through a multi-million dollar restoration, and the original barn was transformed into fourteen luxury guest suites, offering modern amenities without sacrificing charming details. The Wayfarer Inn is located on the site of an historic mill. Both offer a gracious amount of charm in this formerly industrial portion of the state.
Concord offers basic chain motels such as the Fairfield Inn Concord and the Courtyard by Marriott. The Centennial Inn is located in an 1892 brick mansion. Its close proximity to downtown makes it popular with those in town on government business.
