Nebraska has two major land regions: the Dissected Hill Plains, which make up the easternmost fifth of the state, and the Great Plains, which make up the remaining portion. The Dissected Hill Plains are made up of rolling hills. Omaha and Lincoln are located in this area. The Great Plains have many different regions with them including: the Sandhills, the Pine Ridge, the Rainwater Basin, and the Wildcat Hills.
