Monaco hosts a variety of glamorous and exciting events year round.

• In the spring, be sure to check out the Monte-Carlo Opera. Many works were produced here for the first time, such as “The Child and the Spells” and “Tristan and Isolde.” A variety of quality performances are held every year. Tickets go on sale in November.
• There are a variety of festivals during the summer in Monaco. In June, they celebrate the Feast of Saint John. In July, it’s the Monte-Carlo Television Festival and the International Fireworks Festival. In August, the Monte-Carlo Red Cross Gala Ball is held.
• In the fall, residents and tourists alike enjoy the Yacht Show and Monaco Classic Week, which celebrates Monaco’s maritime past. In November, hundreds of runners assemble for the International Marathon in Monaco.
• Although the Christmas and New Years Festivities are the highlight of the winter season, there are a few other winter activities worth taking note of. The International Antique, Jewelry, and Art Show is held in December, as well as the Monaco Dance Forum, which recognizes and highlights all types of dance. In January and February, the International Circus Festival comes to town, delighting residents both young and old.
