According to the 2000 US Census, the Branson School district covers 111.47 square miles and a population of 17,851. It is divided into three campuses: Cedar Ridge, which has three schools for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The Jr. High School educates students in seventh and eighth grades, and about one mile north of the Jr. High campus is the High School for the remainder of the grades. They see about 3,400 students who are educated by 241 teachers.
