Day Seven: Friday

Today it’s time for a day trip to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. It will take you about two hours to get from Detroit to Cedar Point. The amusement park covers 364 acres and has the largest collection of rides in the world. There are a total of 70, including 16 roller coasters. The new Wicked Twister is a double-twist vertical coaster that soars 215 feet in the air. There also is live entertainment, water rides in Soak City, and a children’s area. This is one of the most popular attractions in the Midwest, so expect long lines in the summer.
