This outdoor amphitheatre was built with excellent acoustics and hosts many venues for entertainment purposes. Visitors and LA residents may bring a picnic dinner and enjoy a variety of different music styles (pop, symphonic, jazz and more) under the stars. Visiting the Hollywood Bowl is an entertainment highlight in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Zoo and Aquarium are impressive sights and worth the visit during the time your spend in LA. The Aquarium is host to 12,000 living creatures such as jellyfish, sea lions, sharks plus three main aquariums with a variety of sea creatures. Thanks to the beautiful weather that Los Angeles experiences, a visit to the Griffith Park Zoo is an attraction that thrills 1.5 million visitors annually. This is a 113-acre zoological wonder with 1,200 exotic inhabitants. Attractions include the Children’s Discovery Center, Pachyderm Forest, Red Ape Rain Forest and Chimpanzees of Mahale Mountain. For a mere $9 for adults and $4 for children under 12, this zoo is a big bang for your buck! Theme parks are a definite highlight when you visit Los Angeles. Knott’s Berry Farm, Six Flags, Universal Studios and last but not least, Disneyland/California Adventures are wonderful theme parks to explore and experience. Fantasy sells and these theme parks prove it! Famous landmarks such as the Hollywood Sign, Santa Monica Pier, Mann Grouman’s Chinese Theatre and Queen Mary are just some of the unique places to soak in local history. There are famous museums located in Los Angeles including the Getty Center, Los Angels County Museum of Art, Museum of Tolerance and others. Truly, Los Angeles is a fun-filled place to visit and live. Boredom is not an option is this exciting city. Truly, there is entertainment for the young, old and in-between!
