As Illinois is a state on the rise then prices are higher than a lot of states through the US and the average house price about $200,000 whilst the surrounding states are around $130,000 - $170,000. It is good for Illinois by being a major area for purchases but if you search long and hard, you could secure a deal a lot lower than the rough cost.
